In April of 2007, Gene Gregory and I got together to put out a Soundtrack for the book. He wrote and sang all the stuff. I was the editor behind the scenes. I'm the one that separated the audio from the video, mastered the tracks, and designed the inserts.
Being a first time screenwriter, I found the process of getting affordable help extremely frustrating. I knew it wasn't perfect. I knew it was tainted because it's my story. What I didn't realize was that unless your script looks perfect, it's hard to get any help without paying an arm and a leg.
My view is this ...
Everyone has to start somewhere. There are many great stories out there that are in need of a voice. Just because it isn't told perfect out of the gate, or it isn't formated perfectly, doesn't mean that it isn't worth taking the time to make it spectacular.
