The Aklan Association Eastern USA, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to unify the Filipino
communities in the east coast of the United States by promoting the Filipino culture and heritage, to sponsor
social and cultural events and activities and to perform works of charity. Aklan is a province in the Philippines
which occupies the northwestern coastal plain of the island of Panay, in Region VI, Western Visayas.
Members of the Association combine their resources (time and talent) to work for common goals with the
following objectives:
These lofty goals have made Aklan Association Eastern USA, Inc. well-respected so that its membership is much
esteemed. Each year AAEUSA sponsors a number of social and philanthropic events in which its members and
guests participate to foster the Association’s objectives. The Association has been a stellar supporter,
contributor and fundraiser for causes for many years, distributing the net proceeds of the Association’s annual
efforts to various causes and charities. AAEUSA creates opportunities to explore the many facets of the Filipino
culture, and to strengthen bonds between the Filipino and American people. The Association strives to enhance
the appreciation and knowledge of the Filipino culture in the Eastern Seaboard.

- To provide a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, to initiate
philanthropic endeavors and to build a better community.
- To articulate and strengthen by many means the Filipino cultural values of family, faith, cuisine, language,
the arts, and the heritage of its people and places.
- To foster interaction and dialog in the governmental, professional and business sectors between our
Filipino communities in the US and in the Philippines.
