| Okay, so I read an article/blog about… I don’t know, ten days ago? Anyway, it has been gnawing at my brain. It had a photo of a young boy joyously running through green grass draggin’ balloons above and behind him. The photo itself signified freedom and happiness. The article, more than anything else, was about every individual’s true purpose on earth. This rang so true to me because I’ve always felt that each and every one of us has a specific purpose or why would we be here? I believe we are put on earth over and over again until we achieve what we were meant to. |

| It is very easy to get caught up in the, “What should be dones,” and the, “That’s not how it works,” that we get lost. We wander and stray away from our designated purpose. It is so easy to become complacent. We slide on into the groves of everyday life and never wreck out of it. After all, the groove seems less bumpy and so much easier than the unbeaten path. The funny thing is that when you truly let go and let life drive you, your purpose is suddenly incredibly natural. This article simply asked, “What did you love as a child?” Then it went on to list some major figures and what they loved to do as children. They listed some really whacky things that most children don’t do. The figures they mentioned went on to become very famous and prosperous based on the passion they were born with. See, they never lost it. I believe that every soul, spirit, whatever is unveiled to accomplish something. At that time they instinctively know what to do much like a first time mother of any species. The difference is that after years of being put in a “life box” of sorts, it’s very easy to lose site of what we were pushed out of the womb to accomplish. Think back to your childhood and the passions that accompanied you. The things you did that made you feel alive down to the core of your body. That thing that you participated in that made you feel as if you would actually float away if gravity didn’t actually exist. It was the only thing that could enfold you in the warmth of love without being received from another. I mean, it made you feel as if you were actually glowing from the inside out. That’s your thing. ~Cindy Callinsky Out listening to Clutch “Who’s Been Talkin?” |
