About Gene:
The love of music began at an early age for Gene and started when he
received a bass guitar on his seventh birthday. Today this love affairs
continues as he continues to gather not only momentum with the fans, but with
the media.

The lyrical content of Genes music has been described as soulful and
powerful. Couple that with his dynamic and percussive power and command of
the guitar he plays and he is unstoppable. Gene has won awards for his
musical talent, having received his first award during his tentative years in high
school as the "Most Versatile Musician".

When listening to the music of Gene Gregory one can easily realize and hear
the various styles and genres that he has played or dabbled in, including
heavy metal, psychedelic, progressive and classic rock. Gene put these
sounds together in his very first band, Rainy Day Parade. The efforts of Rainy
Day Parade brought about the recording of two full length compilations: SBS &
Rainy Day Parade.

direction. The bass guitar and equipment were sold and he purchased an
He started touring, playing various small venues and eventually found himself
in Nashville recording Face Of A Clown & Axis with Art Ward at Nightingale
Studios. In 2002 Gene hooked up with fellow Baltimoreans and long time
friends, Wain Walker(Does It Meow), Dave Blimmel(VinylRhino) & Bryan
Hughan(Gilmore) to form the band MonkeyDog. They recorded a three-song
demo in 2003.

Currently, Gene plays solo acoustically and with various local musicians in
bars and clubs throughout Maryland, New York, Virginia, South Carolina and
Pennsylvania. He has played at the The Recher Theater, opening for Colin
Hay-Men At Work but there have been many others. Most recently Gene
Gregory appeared live on Low Country Live, ABC Channel 4, Charleston,
South Carolina, were his music was given great reviews.

In addition, Gene continues to participate in Charity events and volunteer his
time for such causes as entertaining the soldiers and sailors serving our
country. Gene proudly plays Aquila Custom Acoustics.
