If you all haven't notice, this website is really meant to be a joke. There
are some serious problems going on in the world regarding animal
treatment.
The minds behind this website are really truly animal lovers. They pick
up stray dogs that have been hit by cars, pay to get them fixed up at the
vet, and find them good homes.
They take in stray cats, pay to get them fixed and find them good homes.
I ask you...where do all the stray animals come from? Most come from
irresponsible pet owners.
I have even known some of these kind hearted people to take in iguana's
that have been left for dead.
My point is that there are currently laws in place that allow people to hunt
cats..."Wild cats."
In South Dakota and Minnesota the law is already in place.
They are trying to get it passed in Madison, Wisconsin right now.
If you read the fine print it says you are able to hunt a cat if:
*They are not under the owner's direct control (they are cats, they
control themselves not visa-versa).
*They do not have a collar on (my cats take them off every time I put one
on).
I think laws like these are sad and disgusting. If you have a stray cat that
is too wild to be tamed, you should catch/trap it and take it to the
Humane Society. Hello, that is why the call it Humane.
I will tell you now that if a law like this goes through, people will be killing
their neighbors pets because they simply annoy them. People already
poison their neighbors animals with stuff like antifreeze!
